Patient Participation Group - PPG

Patient Participation Group (PPG) refers to patients, such as you, who are taking an active interest in healthcare.

It gives you the opportunity to have a say in how services are planned, developed and evaluated, by development a good working relationship with the practice staff and GPs.

Membership of the group is voluntary and involves attending 6 meetings a year.

Virtual Members

Do you have something to say, but don’t have the time to attend meetings? You can become a virtual member of the Patient Participation Group.

As a member of the Virtual Patient Group, we will send you e-mails with copies of the Agendas, Minutes of the meetings and other documentation discussed or to be discussed by the Group asking you for your opinion on a range of topics.

The information you supply will be used to contact you via email. This facility is intended for this purpose only and not for personal medical issues or complaints, for which there are procedures already in place.

Please note, your e-mail address will be shared with other members of the Group but will not be shared with anyone else apart for any purpose.

Joining the PPG

If you would like to become a member of the Group, please contact the Practice and ask to speak to the Deputy Practice Manager/Practice Manager who will send you a form.
